Capital Campaign

The Penn Township Volunteer Emergency Services is taking another step in providing the citizens of Penn Township with quality and efficient service.

 On January 1^st, 2007, the Friendship Fire Company, Parkville Fire Company, Penn Township Ambulance Club, and Penn Township Scuba Team consolidated to form the Penn Township Volunteer Emergency Services, Inc. This consolidation has proven to be a positive venture in the service to the community. Our next step in the consolidation is to bring the company under one roof. This endeavor is under way in the construction of a new station on Clover Lane just off Baltimore Street.

 Before we took on such a large project, we looked at our current operations. We currently operate out of three different building dating back to 1951 to which need major renovations to make then energy efficient, environmentally friendly and conducive to today’s modern emergency services standards. Looking at the future and being financially responsible, it was determined that a new building would be more cost effective then renovating our current buildings.

 The new building project will be in excess of 5 million dollars and when finished will provide us with a state of the art station and the citizens with a more efficient and effective department. Your support in this endeavor would be greatly appreciated!

Our Capital Campaign consists of two categories with three levels of support per category along with two special levels.

 Residential Campaign

Bronze Level $50.00 Donation
Your name on a patron’s plaque displayed at the new station, certificate of support and personal invitation to the dedication of the new station.

 Silver Level $150.00 Donation
Your name on a 4 x 8 Brick and placed on the patron’s walkway in front of the new station, certificate of support and personal invitation to the dedication of the new station.

 Gold Level $250.00 Donation
Your name on an 8 x 8 Brick and placed on the patron’s walkway in front of the new station, certificate of support and personal invitation to the dedication of the new station.

Bronze Level $250.00 Donation
Business name on a patron’s plaque displayed at the new station, certificate of support and personal invitation to the dedication of the new station.

 Silver Level $500.00 Donation
Business name on a 4 x 8 Brick and placed on the patron’s walkway in front of the new station, plaque to proclaim your support and personal invitation to the dedication of the new station.

 Gold Level $1,000.00 Donation
Business name on an 8 x 8 Brick and placed in the patron’s walkway in front of the new building, plaque to proclaim your support and personal invitation to the dedication of the new station.

*Limited Addition Granite Bench $5,000.00 Donation (Limit of 5)

 *40’ Flag Pole $10,000.00 Donation (Limit of 3)
Name placed on a plaque in front of the three flag poles in front of the new station, plaque to proclaim your support and personal invitation to the dedication of the new station.
